Fast Track Networking

I co-authored Fast Track Networking: Turning Conversations into Contacts (Career Press, 2010) with Lucy Rosen, the “Queen of Networking.”  Rosen runs a successful marketing and public relations firm with offices in New York and New Mexico, and is the founder of the national women’s networking group, Women on the Fast Track.  The book offers readers an insider’s look into what works – and what doesn’t – when it comes to networking.  In addition, it contains real-life networking success stories of leading business owners and entrepreneurs, highlighting how networking helped them in their careers.

The Brides Year Ahead

A best–seller,”The Bride’s Year Head: Revised and Expanded Second Edition (Sellers Publishing, 2011) was initially published in 2003. Tapping into my previous ten years’ experience as a regional wedding magazine editor (and current bridal blogger), I was retained to edit and update the second edition.  This wedding planner is organized in a month-by-month fashion and now includes new and updated information for brides-to-be, such as questions to ask reception halls, wedding attendants and their duties; hiring a wedding planner; attending bridal shows; and shopping for rings.

Reviews

"New York's largest borough, Queens is arguably 'the most heterogeneous place in the world' Kenneth Jackson writes in the introduction to this handsome book. (Officially, 44 percent of the population is foreign born; no one knows the number of illegal immigrants.) Maps and photographs, historical and contemporary, illustrate a lively introduction to the people and cultures of Queens 99 neighborhoods."  -- The New York Times Book Review

"This planner encompasses the 12 months up until your wedding.  It's unique in that it provides just as much information to the bride as it does places to write your information...it seems like a great wedding planner and would be very helpful in helping keep your organized."  -- Bride on a Budget
